OFFICIAL T AND J CUSTOM CORNHOLE CANTON LIBERTY FEST TOURNAMENT RULES AND INFO:

The tournament will consist of a maximum 64 teams, and will be run as a "march madness" single elimination bracket style tournament. The first round of 64 will begin at 3:00 pm on Saturday June 18th, and due to time and space restrictions, we will run 12 teams at a time, with a 20 minute time limit. Each team will have a scheduled start time, so please be in the tournament area 10 minutes prior to your start time so everything runs smoothly.

The entry fee is $20 per team, and registration must be complete prior to tournament start time. Players must be a minimum 21 years of age as the tournament will take place in the fenced off beer tent area. Sign up on Saturday at the Liberty fest beer tent sponsored by the canton rotary club, or pre-register your team at any time by calling/texting Joe at 248-979-4152, or email tandjcustomcornhole@yahoo.com

Approximate timeframe:
2:00-3:00 - open practice for all registered teams.
3:00-4:40 - first round of 64 teams
4:40-6:00 - second round of 32 teams
6:00-640 - sweet 16
6:40-7:00 - elite 8
7:00-completion - final 4 and championship

Rules:
Each game will begin with a coin toss and the winner will decide who throws first. Players can stand on either side of the board to throw.

Each bag on the board is worth 1 point, and each bag in the hole is worth 3 points. This will be a "points cancel" style tournament. Example. Team 1 has 2 on the board and one in the hole for a total of 5 points, and team 2 has one on the board and one in the hole for a total of 4 points, team 1 receives 1 point for the round. Bags that are touching the ground or touched the ground and rolled on to the boards will not count and will be removed from the board. The last team to score a point begins the next turn. Unsportsmanlike conduct, delay of game, and arguing the rules will result in team disqualification. The round will end when either team reaches a score of 21 or above (doesn't have to be exact) or the round time limit of 20 minutes is reached. If the time limit is reached, the team that is in the lead at the end of 20 minutes will win the round. In the event of a tie at the end of 20 minutes, there will be a sudden death overtime until one team has more points.

Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded to the TOP 3 teams of the tournament.

1st place: 1 full set of cornhole boards and bags of your choice as seen on the T and J Custom Cornhole website or facebook page, INCLUDING a set of LED hole lights, AND cupholders for the legs.

2nd place: 1 full set of cornhole boards and bags of your choice as seen on the T and J Custom Cornhole website or facebook page, INCLUDING a set of cupholders for the legs.

3rd place: 1 full set of cornhole boards of your choice as seen on the T and J Custom Cornhole website or facebook page.

Boards will be custom made after the tournament winners have picked a design from the website. Arrangements will be made to coordinate delivery of the completed sets. (Shipping is not included)
